Tianjin Zinc: Futures market continues to pull back, trading volume slightly improves [SMM Midday Review]

[Tianjin Zinc: Futures Market Continues to Pull Back, Trading Volume Improves Slightly] In the Tianjin market, mainstream transactions for #0 zinc ingot were conducted at 21,890-22,110 yuan/mt, with Zijin transactions at 21,920-22,130 yuan/mt. Transactions for #1 zinc ingot were around 21,740-21,960 yuan/mt, with Huludao reporting at 25,400 yuan/mt. The ordinary #0 zinc ingot was quoted at a premium of 20-40 yuan/mt against the 2508 contract, while Zijin was quoted at a premium of around 60 yuan/mt against the 2508 contract. Tianjin was quoted at a discount of around 60 yuan/mt compared to Shanghai.

SMM reported on July 8: The mainstream transactions for #0 zinc ingot in the Tianjin market ranged from 21,890 to 22,110 yuan/mt, with Zijin transactions ranging from 21,920 to 22,130 yuan/mt. Transactions for #1 zinc ingot were around 21,740 to 21,960 yuan/mt, while Huludao reported at 25,400 yuan/mt. The premium for ordinary #0 zinc against the 2508 contract was around 20 to 40 yuan/mt, and the premium for Zijin against the 2508 contract was a premium of around 60 yuan/mt. The Tianjin market was quoted at a discount of around 60 yuan/mt compared to the Shanghai market. By the close of the morning session, Xikuang reported a premium of 40 yuan/mt for delivery against the 08 contract, Chihong reported a premium of 30 to 40 yuan/mt against the 2508 contract, Xinzi reported a premium of 30 to 40 yuan/mt against the 08 contract, and the high-end brand Zijin reported a premium of around 60 yuan/mt against the 08 contract. Today, the futures market continued to pull back, downstream enterprises increased restocking at lower prices, restocking sentiment improved slightly, traders' quotes rose slightly, and overall market transactions improved.
